OMT BIELLA has always built and installed systems for the loading of the unravelling machines and the waste recycling lines in the textile industry.

Within the ambit of this sector, thanks to the collaboration of all the companies in the Biella area involved in the recycling of textile waste, OMT BIELLA has designed and built two of the most robust and efficient machines in the world, to cut textile waste products.

The cutting of textile waste allows for the subsequent optimal blending and thus proper processing in the opening and unravelling lines.

The TG1800 bale cutter and the TR1200A rotating cutter are ideal for this process.

Designed to work in sequence, they make a difficult and costly operation easy and automatic.

The TR1200A rotating cutter is the only cutter in the world that opens in half in order to allow for easy access and is used to cut all synthetic fibre waste such as polyester and polyamide which create problems for a normal cutter or fibre melting.

The TG1800 bale cutter (with a work width of 1800 mm) is used to cut all bales of textile waste and to load the TR1200A cutter.
