OMT BIELLALogo OMT BIELLACUTTING TEXTILE FIBRES/cutting the tow flock/microfloc

The MICROFLOC150 guillotine cutter forms part of the history of flock.

There are companies in Italy that have 10 20 or even 30 of these machines producing flock with extremely precise length.

In 2001 this historical microfloc cutter was redesigned.

The MIC150 model with a cutting length of 150 mm and the MIC250 model with a cutting length of 250 mm are the new machines for the market relating to the cutting of continuous tow for the production of flock.

The MIC machine has electronic controls, brushless motors and combined inverter-brushless drive motors.

LENZE control unit and reduced-play control reducers complete the control system.

The heart of the machine has remained unchanged.

Renzo Antoniotti, founder of OMT BIELLA and designer of the cutter is still today in charge of the construction of the machine.

The customers that use the new machine are completely satisfied with how easy it is to use and the precision that cannot be achieved (according to them) with traditional machines.

The MIC150 guillotine cutter for flock can start cutting the tow from 0.3 mm, the cutting precision (that can be verified with a microscope) is absolute.

We can undoubtedly state that a modern company that needs to cut flock and guarantee quality will be completely satisfied with the new MIC 150 and MIC250.
